Labelling (CHIP labels, Carriage labels)

Warning Labels or more commonly described in the industry as CHIP, Carriage or Combination Labels are required for each individual container and can be printed in three different sizes. These sizes are:

►2 to view: used on containers up to and above 500 litres / kg
►4 to view: used on containers up to 500 litres / kg
►8 to view: used on containers up to 50 litres / kg

All these labels are printed on A4 sheets of laser print plastic.

The CHIP Label is the label for the end user and is like the warning label on the domestos bottle at home listing all the risk and safety phrases. The Carriage Label displays the warning symbol along with the UN number of the product, the products proper shipping name and supplier address or contact details. Finally, the Combination Label has both sets of information on. The other type of labelling provided is the 28mm CHIP labels that are once again available in the various classes and come in rolls of 1000.
